Hello!

Whassup fam??

Hi I’m Brittany! Well.. my entire family calls me Pop. You can if you want too! My Papa nicknamed me Popsicle when I was younger but then everyone decided that was too long so it changed to Poppy, then THAT was too long so now it’s officially shortened to Pop. I am a native to the beautiful South Florida area. I've been lucky enough to be born and raised in a place where travelers come to vacation but I can call home. Although I love my home state, my heart has been plagued by the travel bug. I'm excited to take on engagements in deserts, elopements on mountain tops, and weddings all over this beautiful country and world.

Soooo a little background on me. I started photography as a hobby in high school but at the time I never thought I would be able to make a business out of it. A few years ago, I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a wedding and had the opportunity to watch their photographer do her thing first hand. While watching her, something clicked. I was so intrigued and thought “how do I get to do this??” As soon as I got home, I pulled out my camera, did some research, started teaching myself little by little, and the rest is history. It’s crazy to me to think that if I never attended that wedding, I probably wouldn’t have found photography again. Anything in life can happen and what you are meant to do will find you.

If I’m not photographing, you can find me at the pool with a mango Lacroix in my hand, at a concert either belting lyrics at the top of my lungs and/or photographing the show, trying out a new brewery, or quite possibly rewatching Grey’s Anatomy for the 3rd time. I like to tell people I actually got my medical degree from watching 14 seasons of Grey’s (push 2 epi) but I don’t think people who went through 8 years of medical school find that funny. YIKES. Oh and I’m also currently in the middle of my residency at Grey Sloan Memorial.

Although I have found my dream job (this duh), my other dream job(s) would to one day be Paramore, Post Malone, or Luke Bryan’s tour photographer (if you know the hook up let me know!), work as a contributor for Rolling Stone, and run my own dog rescue.

If you’re actually still reading and think i’m still cool, I’d love to chat with you. Just know that you are in good hands (better than Allstate) in your photography journey when I’m involved. Whether you are just starting to research photographers for your wedding or you are ready to pull the trigger on securing one, reach out and let’s find out how we can work with one another, I’d love to hear your story!
